Jose D. Cancel Serrano is a certified coach and mentor.
His passion is working with young adults and professionals to help them
in their personal and professional development. With strategic knowledge, young adults will be able to create, recognize and discern their opportunities. In addition, they will be able to discover their gifts, talents and abilities that in turn will allow them to recognize their dreams, set their goals and achieve their purpose. They will be able to deepen and strengthen their character, reaffirm their values and achieve integral development in all facets of their lives. José is totally convinced that every human being has the desire to achieve more and that he has the capabilities to achieve it. For this reason, he persistently seeks that every person understand has options of receiving the knowledge that will help to create and maximize all of their opportunities.  José has more than 30 years of experience in the sales area, where he reached positions of responsibility and leadership leading sales teams with very significant achievements. These include his team of 12 sales professionals whom he trained, and oversaw their individual goals. The goals achieved was part of the company's' success and became solidified achieving an increase in sales of up to $4.8m in three years. In the last 10 years Jose ventured into the field of coaching where he developed a class program for young adults with behavioral problems.
His commitment to the people of Puerto Rico and its young adults have led him to dedicate all his time and commitment to the local market, always with an eye on Florida where many young adults  and adults from Puerto Rico live.  José studied at the Ana G. Méndez University System where he holds a Master's Degree in Management and Leadership; and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He completed accreditation in executive coaching and team coaching in Barcelona. He has also trained in the areas of human resources, neuro-linguistic programming. In addition, he has taken more than 160 hours of leadership training. These include studies in Resilience, Self-Efficacy, Work Culture, Excellence in Execution, Self Coaching, Personal and Organizational Transformation Leadership, Leadership and Character, Self-Compassion and Compassionate Leadership, The Leader and the Management of Emotions, Emotions and Performance. These, among dozens of other leadership issues. Currently, José is gaining knowledge in a Brand course with a specialized course in Master's Coaching.
